I started working in restaurants when I was 20 years old. I started at the bottom, washing dishes and bussing tables of many different restaurants continuing to learn more and more. From dish washing I moved to food prepping. Learning how to prep everything for big restaurants and little restaurants and it made me want to continue to move up and learn more. By the time I was 22 years old, I started cooking, I was put on "the pans" cooking eggs and simple things just to learn the basics.
When I finally started cooking on my own and was opened up to a whole menu of different foods it made me realize I wanted more for myself and my family. I worked very hard until I was finally able to purchase my own restaurant. I have 3 boys at home that I wanted to provide a stable future for and something that can be passed down when that time would come.
I knew I wanted to open a place that was warm and homey for other families to come in and enjoy a place to just sit and eat and feel comfortable like they're sitting in their own homes without doing all of the work. A place where you can feel welcomed and be a part of our family while enjoying your food in a great atmosphere.
I have the support of a great family behind me, helping make the best of this restaurant, and I have an awesome staff that makes sure that you have the best time and the best meal here and we are determined to make sure that you have nothing but the best experience!
I am very proud of the work we have already done, the customers we have gained and the changes we have made since we have taken over in August. I appreciate every customer that has noticed these changes and continue to support us in our mission to create the best dining experience in Avon for breakfast!
